Christmas Morning

This is what our tree looked like on Christmas morning. I think that Santa dumped his sleigh at our house. We had a great Christmas!

New PJ'S

The kids get to open one gift on Christmas Eve and it is always new pj's. They were excited to get them and it took them awhile to settle down and go to sleep!!

We spent Christmas Eve at my brothers house in Nibley. We all had a great time.

Cocoa the Snowman

It snowed all day Saturday! The kids went out to make this snowman. They named it cocoa because we had to use chocolate licorice for the eyes and mouth.

Jenna Choir Concert

Jenna had her Christmas Choir Concert was Friday night. They did a great job and sang some fun songs. Jenna was able to sing a part of one of the songs with 2 other girls from her class.

PJ & Crazy Hair Day

The Oakwood collected enough foods in the food drive to have pj & crazy hair day! They had a blast!

Christmas Photo Shoot 2010

This is our annual Christmas photo shoot in front of the tree. Dillon just rolls his eyes at me, but is usually a good sport.

The Haul!!!!

Jason took the kids and some friends trick-or-treating. They were gone for about 2 and 1/2 hours. They had a blast and were exhausted!!!

Halloween

This year, Brooke was a evil princess, Jenna was Minnie, and I made Dillon dress up as a doctor just to take a picture. He wasn't too thrilled with me, but it was fun anyway!!

Painting Pumpkins

I wasn't too excited to carve pumpkins this year, so I let the girls pain them. They seemed to have a good time.

8th Grade Basketball

Dillon had his first school basketball game on Saturday. They played West Side and won. I can't remember the score, but they won by 4 points. Dillon is #42.

Crazy Hair Day

For Brooke's Halloween party at school, they had crazy hair day and played games instead of dressing up in their costumes. Jenna did her hair and she loved it!

Jenna's Choir Concert

Jenna had her first choir concert Wednesday night. They are a small group, but they did a great job!!

Championship Football Game

Saturday was Dillon's championship football game in Pocatello at the mini-dome at ISU. They played a tough game and ended up losing by a touchdown in overtime. Even though they lost, they had a great time. This blurry picture is of Dillon in the front. He is #18. Way to go Preston Indians 8th grade football team.

MEMORIES

I walked into my bedroom this morning, and my kids were all laying on my bed watching a movie. It just brought back so many memories of when my kids were younger. They used to do stuff like this all the time. Now that they are getting older, it rarely happens. I'm glad that they still act like they love each other once in awhile.

Happy 40th birthday, Jason

Wednesday was Jason's 40th birthday. The kids and I had fun decorating the house with black ballons. He was a good sport.
