Easter 2012

We had a nice Easter day. It was just us this year, so we kept it simple. We went to church. Then we went for a bike ride to Fuller Park to feed the ducks. We had a nice Easter dinner and then we had an egg hunt.

Rocky Mountain Baseball

Dillon is on the Freshman baseball team. It has been a challenging experience for him (being one of the new kids on the block). He has been having fun and they are 4 and 1!

Choir Concerts

Jenna has had two choir concerts this past week. They do a great job and she has a great time.

New Curtains

The girls and I have been having so much fun getting new ideas off of Pinterest! We came across some curtains a few weeks ago and I knew that they would look good in the girls' room. We took the pillow sham off their beds and headed to the fabric store. They each picked out their own fabric. I thought they they turned out cute. The next step is painting!!! I will post pictures of their rooms' after that project is done.

Brooke's 10th Birthday!

My baby turned 10 on March 1st! Hard to believe. She is growing up so fast. She had a great day and made out like a bandit!

Storage shelves

Since we moved to our new house, I have been having to get any food storage or canned goods out of boxes!! What a pain! Well, Jason and Loyd finally got my shelves done. I am so happy!! Now I can get stuff without digging through boxes! It's just a little thing, but so worth it!

Book Reports

Brooke has to do book reports every month. They have been somewhat time consuming and fun to put together. January was a diarama of a fairy tale. She did hers on Cinderella. February was a board game on a biography. She chose Walt Dinsey and we based the game on Canyland. The only difference is that on each turn player draw a "Walt Fact" card and read it to learn about Walt Disney. Her teacher told us that theese were the biggest project of the year and that the rest of them should be easier!

Blooms in February!

The weather is here is great! We have a tree full of blooms in the front yard and my rose bushes have blooms all over them. I hope that they are hearty, because it still gets chilly when the sun goes down.
