Jenna is 14!!

Happy Birthday Jenna.  I put together this collage of Jenna for her birthday.  She is such a fun and beautiful girl!!

SNOW DAY

The kids had a snow day on Thursday, January 10th.  We are having a colder and snowier year this year.  They say that it hasn't been like this for 40 years or more.  Anyway, it is mild to us, as we are used to winters in Preston.  I couldn't resist taking this picture of the 3 of them using their gadgets!!  The others are of the snow and Dillon shoveling our driveway!

Grammies present

Jenna has wanted an ipod touch for about 2 years.  Her dad told her that he would not buy her one, even though she kept working on him.  Well, Grammie decided to come to her rescue.  She got Jenna an ipod touch, Brooke a tablet and Dillon a pair of Oakley sunglasses(since he already has a tablet.)  Well, they were thrilled.  Dillon was even thrilled with the sunglasses, but after much debate, decided to return them and get an ipod touch.  Now they are are plugged in to the electronic scene and loving life.

Christmas

Christmas was great at our house.  Santa spoiled the kids and so did their grandmas.  I got a new camera and Jason got a video recorder.  My mom was able to be here with us.

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve we were able to get together with my brother and his wife and her daughter's family.  It was fun to have us back together again since they live up here now.  We had a good time eating, playing a few games and opening presents.

Basketball Game

BASKETBALL

Dillon is on the JV basketball team and that keeps us all busy.  The schools up here have 4 team, frosh, soph, jv, & varsity.  He is doing great and loves to play!

Brooke's Dance Recital

Brooke has been taking ballet classes.  They did a cute little Christmas dance recital.  They also dance at an assisted living center near our house.  She is doing a great job and loves it.

Jenna's Choir Concert

I just love Jenna's choir teacher. She is an amazing person and she does a great job with the kids. The Christmas choir was fantastic. There are over 70 kids in the 7th & 8th grade choir. Jenna even got to sing a duet. She did a great job.

Brooke's Choir Concert

The 5th grade students at Brooke's school held a choir concert. They were learning about different styles of music. They did a good job. Brooke was able to sing with a group of girls for a special little number. She thought that she was big stuff. It was fun to watch them perform. The end picture is of Brooke and her friend Kylie.
