Painting!!

Since we have lived in our house for 10 years, we decided that we needed a fresh coat of paint. We started on Thursday, and we finished on Saturday afternoon. I still need to do a couple of door jams and baseboards, but it look wonderful. It's amazing that a coat of paint can make your house seem new again.

Bybee Family Reunion

Saturday we were able to go to the Bybee Family Reunion in Ogden, Utah. We had such a great time visiting with so many people. It was fun to see cousins that we haven't seen for such a long time. We even met some spouses of cousins that we hadn't met before. Thanks to my cousin Chris for putting it together and all of his hard work. They had a water park and the girls had a great time cooling off.

Swimming Lessons

Th girls are taking swimming lesson at Sky View. They are loving it and doing a great job. Brooke will even go under the water now and that is a big accompolishment for her!!

Seussical, Jr.

Jenna and Brooke were in the community play Seussical, Jr. Jenna was a "BirdGirl" and Brooke was a "Who". They had a great time and made some new friends. They also did a great job on their performances.

Stake Conference

For our stake conference, we had 2 visiting authorities. They were Elder William R Walker and Elder Gary B Porter. The kids loved getting to meet them and hearing them tell stories about President Monson. What a wonderful experience this was for our family.

Trek 2011

Jason, Dillon and I had the opportunity to go on the trek with our stake. We had a great time, but we were happy to get back home to our bed and shower.

Ballroom Dance

This has been a busy week with ballroom dance. Last Saturday, Brooke danced at Black and White days in Richmond, Utah. On Wednesday, she danced at Dancing with the Stars at the High School. On Friday, both girls had their dance recital. They had a blast performing, but I'm glad that we will have a break for awhile.

Brooke's Softball

Last Tuesday was Brooke's first softball game. She hit the ball her first 3 times at bat and struck out her last time. She had a blast!!

Last Day of School

Thursday was our last day of school. I was able to get a few pictures of Brooke. One is in her classroom with some friends and the other one is during the field day activities.

Jenna's Black Eye

On Wednesday at school, Jenna ran into someone during gym. The lights were off for some unknown reason and of course, Jenna got hurt. I went and picked her up and got her settled with ice and ibuprophin and then went to work. A couple of hours later, I went and picked her up and took her back to school so she could go to the water party. This bruise appeared a few days later.
