This year we spent Spring Break at home. Dillon had baseball everyday, so it was just easier to stay home and tackle some projects. Jenna has been wanting to make a rag quilt, so she started that. I wanted to do a major overhaul on the kids' rooms, so we did. Dillon played baseball everyday. The girls and I had a girl's day out with a trip to the mall, lunch and shopping. They each spent a day with friends and had sleepovers. All in all, it was a good week!

Brooke wanted to have a friend party this year, so I caved!! She had a great time with her friends.
We had cupcakes for the friend party!
This is the awesome cake that a good friend made for her birthday!
Jason was giving her a bad time about not being able to blow out all 11 candles!!

Last Minute Vacation
Our hotel--the little gray one!
The beach at Seaside
Gathering seashells
North Head Light House--Cape Disappointment State Park, Washington
Beard's Hollow
Cape Disappointment Lighthouse
Beard's Hollow Beach--Our favorite
Sunset from Seaside
Rockaway Beach, Oregon
Oceanside, Oregon--the sun came out for a few minutes!
Cannon Beach, Oregon
Jason has been wanting to go to the Oregon Coast. We've talked about it, but have never found time. He called me from work one day and said that he wants to go, and the only time that he could get a couple of days off from work would be the 14th & 15th of February. This only left us 2 weeks to work out all the details, but we went and we had a great time. We left early Thursday morning and drove to Seaside, Oregon. We stayed at a little place right on the beach. We didn't have a oceanview room, but that didn't bather us. On Friday, we went up North and went into Washington. On Saturday, we went South and checked out some great beaches. We drove home Sunday, stopping at Multnomah Falls just outside of Portland.

Choir Elementary Tour
Jenna & Kaylee on the bus.
Mrs. Wright
Mollorie, Hannah, Mariah, Kaylee & Jenna
Every year, the choir at Sawtooth Middle School goes on an elementary tour. They go to 3 elementary schools and perform for the 5th graders to get them excited about choir in Jr High. I went as a chaperone and thought that they did a great job. I love her choir teacher and I think that she does a great job with her students.

Playing in the Snow
Brooke and Kylie playing in the snow!!
Like most areas, we have had a colder and snowier winter this year. Brooke and her friend Kylie love to go out in the park and play in the snow. They have a great time!

Happy 14th Birthday Jenna
Jenna had a party for her birthday this year. She invited 6 of her friends. She wanted to do something involving Phantom Of The Opera, so she had a masquerade party. They dressed up in fancy dresses and wore masks. They played games, ate pizza and birthday cake, and giggled and giggled as most 13-14 year olds do! They had a great time!!!
